Welcome back to another video and a quick review of the director’s cut of both parts of the Rebel Moon movie. And you guys know that the PG-13 version of Rebel Moon has also been released. So do you get to see this director cut? Do you get to see any major changes in it or not? And those who have seen the PG 13 version, do you get to see their director cut? I So if you have watched both parts of the Rebel Moon movie, then you will not find any drastic change in the story of the director’s cut. For those who are new, let me tell you a little story. Director’s Cut vs. PG-13 Version: What’s New?

And that’s why I’m making this review for two types of audience. There is one type of audience that hasn’t seen the movie and another type of audience that has seen the PG-13 version of the movie. Based on my experience, I liked the director’s cut better than the first two parts of PG 13. And there is no doubt that if Jack Snyder gets a chance to present the movie in his own way, then he will show the movie in a very good way. And you get to see the same thing in the director’s cut. And we got to see the same thing in Justice League Snyder Cut. And we have seen the same thing in his old movies.

But even in this director cut, the issue I faced was that if you look at the length of both movies, the movie becomes very long. And nowadays, such long movies are not preferred by the audience. For example, the first part of this movie, PG 13, had a length of 2 hours and 16 minutes, which is an ideal time. Mostly, like makers, they push their movies for 2 hours and 30 minutes. But the Snyder Cut version you are seeing now, the first part of Rebel Moon, has a length of 3 hours and 24 minutes, which is quite a long time. And you will see the same thing in the second part of the movie. Overall, you see, both parts are now around 6 hours old.

The Length Issue:

And it’s not like any changes have been made to the story because of its length. I saw both parts in the director’s cut. So yes, you have seen some of the character’s backstories, like additions. Bloodshed has been enhanced, action scenes have been enhanced, and some adult scenes have been enhanced as well. But overall, the main part of any movie or series is the story, and I didn’t see any massive changes in it. I would like to tell the old audience who have seen the PG-13 version of this movie to watch the director-cut version of this movie again. Because those who didn’t like the first part of this movie don’t like the next part as well.

But to the audience who haven’t watched the PG-13 version, I can say that you guys should have a little lower expectations in regards to the story and watch the DC-cut version. You guys will experience it more positively. So if I want to give my rating to the director-cut version, I will give it 3 out of 5 stars. According to me, Netflix thought that PG 13 did not get a good response. Let’s release the director-cut version and see if it gets a good response. Because Rebel Moon was a very costly project for Netflix, it did not live up to the expectations that they had set.
