Review of Fateh Movie
So, I just watched the Fateh movie, and after watching the movie, a lot is in my mind about Sood in this movie. No, I’m not talking about the character he played in the movie. I’m talking about the two important characters he played in making the movie. The character of an actor and the character of a director.
Focus on Directors Over Actors
As you know, I’m more of a fan of directors than actors. So, in this video, we’ll talk more about Sonu Sood as an actor and Sonu Sood as a director. And for director Sonu Sood, I’ll finish the story in one line. Mind blowing. I mean, you can’t tell by watching the movie that this is Sonu Sood’s directorial debut.
Sonu Sood’s Directorial Debut
He has done a great job according to his first movie. I see Sonu Sood walking on the path of Ajay Devgn. After watching Ajay Devgn’s Shivaya, I was shocked that Ajay Devgn. And I’m feeling the same after watching Fateh today. I can say that Sonu Sood has given his 100 percent in making this movie, whether he’s an actor or a director.
The Storyline
Well, if we talk about the story, it’s not too complicated. It’s simple. The story revolves around the International Cyber Mafia. Where a girl from the village gets trapped in a cyber syndicate. And then Fateh takes the help of an ethical hacker named Khushi to expose that crime syndicate. That’s it. This is the main plot of the movie.
Action Over Story
But this story is not the USP of this movie. In fact, this movie tries to sell itself at the price of its action. Just like the brutal A-rated movies of today want to do. Whether it’s Kill, Marco, or right now in the middle, Yudhra also tried this, but it proved to be a failure because she didn’t push her boundaries.
Stylish Execution of Action
Whereas Fateh does this job very well. In fact, I would say that she crossed the boundary and jumped to the other side. That too in a very stylish way. On top of that, there is something here that is used in every A-rated movie’s fight sequence. Corridor wala fight sequence. Ye Daredevil ke baad itna zyada famous hua hai ki iske bina aerated movies adhoori si lagti hain.
Convincing Character Body Language
Ek aur cheez jo main point out karna character ki body language. Gun Sood ki jo body language hai wo itni convincing lagti hain ki screen pe character ne fire arms chalane ki proper training liye hui hai isne. Mostly, actors miss this kind of character the most. You’ll get to see the same body language in John Wick’s character as well.
Powerful Dialogues
And one thing I liked after its trailer was its dialogues. See, we had heard catchy dialogues in Ravi Kumar’s trailer as Fateh as well. And interestingly, both have a similarity. That is, both the movies are very self-aware about themselves. The only difference is in their approach. As far as Ravi Kumar knows, he is a
Different Tone in Dialogues
It’s a spoof movie, you don’t have to take it seriously. On the other hand, Fateh comes inside you and speaks so close to your ears, Baby, I’m damn serious. His dialogues are quite heavy. These dialogues carry the weightage of becoming a part of pop culture. I personally like the punchlines that Fateh says after doing Kaant every time. He gives a chill and calm attitude to this character.
Music That Complements the Movie
Plus, his music complements all of this. Jon Stewart has done a different job. The USP of this movie’s music is that it doesn’t follow the trend of big-budget pan-India movies. Anirudh type of music is very loud and hard-hitting. Here, opposite to that, very chill and calm music has been used. In the movie, a song by Hans Zimmer, “To The Moon,” has also been used.
Musical Inspiration and Impact
Everyone knows that. The entire music of this movie is inspired by that genre. Even, I liked the work of Loar Kotler more than “To The Moon.” For those who don’t know, let me tell you that Loar has worked in movies like Dune.
Recommended Song: Call to Life
Fateh Khan’s song, “Call to Life,” it just falls right into your skin. If you haven’t heard it, it’s highly recommended from my side. The rest, everyone’s acting in the movie is great, what more can I say about them? But yeah, before I go, let me remind you once again that this movie is not by actor Sonu Sood, but by director Sonu Sood.
